So, I flew a Christmas tin full of rum balls to a local neighbor's grass strip yesterday. Looks like the last warm day to fly here for awhile. This year's batch of rum balls was the best ever. I find they taste better if I drink eggnog with rum while making them. :-)

Ted, we hope you and Laurie and the kids come back down again soon. :) Our good friend and airplane mechanic, Zach designed and built the hangar (with our limited help). He lives on a farm with a grass strip just 4 miles down the road. He's going to be building a hangar on his farm in the near...

With our stack doors we had the option of either a trough, or a rail bolted into the concrete.

Ted, there are a few drawbacks to the stack doors. If you have a snow storm and the hangar faces north, a little snow can come in.

Ted, I don't know if you remember seeing them when you were here at the farm...we have Horton Stack doors and just love them. Funny...I noticed them on the Aerostar hangar in the movie "American Made".

Ted, if you all will be driving down I-49, please stop in to see us going to and/or from Gaston's. Our farm/airport is only one mile east of the interstate, between Lamar and Jasper. Tom and I would love to meet your family. :) Perhaps the kids will need a stop to burn off energy. :) Weather...

Bruce, I'm sorry I missed you, but happy to hear that you stopped by the farm. :)

There are several students right now who are also happy about this. Some of them quit training when Tom self-grounded, and some went elsewhere but weren't happy there. He's back to being busy in the air. :) Thank you for making our days brighter. :)
