Apparently, Spammers Keep Lists of Spam Reporters

I think spammers, voice and email do try to focus on actual prospects makes their list sales more valuable. We try not to answer calls from unknown numbers. If we do by mistake the number quickly goes on the reject list. Most calls will ring out and then a quick redial.

You know, I typically try to cut the younger generation some slack...

I hate it when young kids run wild in art museums and such. They don't get anything out of it and bother other patrons. Same with restaurants. Again not the kids fault.

Trig functions & Private Pilot Test

When I started college in 70, the only calculators available were three Wang consoles in a small lab. TI was out but cost a semesters tuition. The came HP 35 with RPN and a stack. Wow, dam near a computer. Well, were were still punching cards. I had a Picket metal and a Post bamboo. Probably...

You know, I typically try to cut the younger generation some slack...

Exactly, training and expectations, consequences. Don't think smacking, beating, spanking etc has been shown to help and might hinder. I was never hit but if I can't the least out of line the hurt and disappointment in mom's face was enough. (Dad died when I was 7).

NCAR has or had a reinforced glider they intentially flew into T-storms with lots of instrumentation. And I think an armored T-6 but that might have been someone else.

    Tinted Plexiglass

Here's what a Denver doc has to say: “Here in Denver, the mile high city, we have 25 percent more U.V. in the ambient light than compared to the same light level at sea level,” said dermatologist Dr. Neil Box. “At 10,000 feet you’re at 50 percent more U.V. than at sea level. Ultraviolet light...

    Please, not another “Dunkirk”

I'm pretty critical too but try to sit back and enjoy the movie as entertainment unless they actually call it a documentary. I include car chases, gun fights, martial arts movies, all entertainment even if based on a real event.

    Radio range

ATC lost me IFR at 14500 south west of Monarch pass. They knew about it and almost exactly where I'd get them again (Badger Mtn). Another big gap is along I-25 a bit north and south of the state line.

    Tinted Plexiglass

I think anything that reduces vision at night isn't good. An no reason to have in particular. I have several pair of non-polorized sunglasses. I don't wear them at night either.

Flying over Yellowstone and then east

Second WYS, there is a pilots only campground plus rental cars and usually a restaurant on field. Flying from there to Old Faithful then north around the lake and out the north entrance is a nice trip. Remember the requested 2000' horizontal and vertical from the surface. Riverton WY had a...

How much airplane can you get for $1,000 monthly budget?

Well for starters we never buy a new car because of this. Not sure borrowing ever makes sense unless the selection is so bad you can't wait. And I'm talking personal toys not things needed to work.

How much airplane can you get for $1,000 monthly budget?

True but you'll see it build fast if you aren't paying interest. Unless you're looking for something really unique there'll be another. We have not had a loan since we paid off the 15 year mortgage on our last house. What are aircraft loans running today?
