Why 4 seats for 2 adults and baggage? My wife and I just flew from Kansas City to Destin, Fl at 155kts w/ 100lbs baggage at 8.5 gph. But I only have 2 seats in my RV-9A.

About 15 years ago, I had a Super Musketeer for about 5 years. It was a great plane. It could carry a ton, landed great in crosswinds, and was easy to fly. But it was slooooowwww. 110ktas. If you're good with that, It's hard to find any faults with it.

I thought this too, but now I almost always climb to altitude for any flight > 0.5hr. The reason? I climb at a minimum of 1000fpm up to around 8000MSL. That means in 6 to 8 minutes I'm at altitude. For the extra 1/2 gallon max of fuel spent getting to altitude, it's not a big expense. It's a...

Does anyone know how to get replacement Basic Med documentation? I've got quite the string of bad luck here: 1. I misplaced my docs 2. My doctor is no longer in the area 3. The FAA website is clear you can order a replacement Class I/II/III, but says nothing about Basic Med 4. I called Oklahoma...
