Young pilot dies after takeoff trouble - Cessna 152

Sad news. Every flight for me is a new learning experience , only 130 plus hours but well over 400 landings . One memorable touch and go when I forgot to raise flaps was really interesting. My straight tail 172 has Horton STOL kit and will climb with 30 degree flaps but never exceed 70 MPH and...

    Fossil Fuel Powerplant Efficiency

Cost of a KW of energy to me would be the efficiency point. Years back 1969 our electric cost was 1 cent per KW. Water generated energy. Now It is .06825 per KW Still a bargain . Power is from a Co-op . Power prices begin to creep up when private power generation from coal was added . Then...

    Rats are eating my Car

Cotton tail rabbits also like wiring. I bought a nice little motor home cheap years ago . Only problem was the rabbits had ate the wiring harness for the engine ,lights and rubber boots on the front wheel drive line. I had to buy a service manual to figure out the "how to "on the wiring . Couple...

    Rough Ground Flight Review

Yes that is my interpatation also . If one is in a 135 or other operation for hire , if you exceed the 100 hour rule by 10 hours the next 100 hour inspection is due in 90 hours or when the Annual is completed . Which ever occurs first.
