    FS: 1986 Socata Trinidad TB-21

My instruments tended to "act up" almost every time you flew in it though. ;)

    FS: 1986 Socata Trinidad TB-21

Thanks, guys. Certainly has been a very fun and stable plane to fly. Very good IFR platform.

At 75% power, 155kts down low 180ish up high (20,000') I typically see about 16gph on average, maybe slightly less, but I plan for 16.

    FS: 1986 Socata Trinidad TB-21

Thanks guys. Yes lots of good flight memories with some of you. She's a very stable and solid IFR traveling machine. Spike: as it turned out, 3 out of the 5 partners wanted to move on. We collectively decided to sell rather than buy the others out or attempt to find new partners at this time.

    Avidyne Emergency AD

Luckily there aren't that many approaches that are affected by this. Certainly not near the northeast where I do most of my flying. I'm liking our IFD540 install so far. About a month old now.

Just FYI, unit is sold. Someone feel free to close/lock the thread.

    FS: Garmin 530

In the northeast heading down the coast through NY it's pretty much required to fly an airway. Otherwise you get sent to PA around the bravo.

    FS: Garmin 530

No didn't win it. We bought it a couple of years ago when they first were announced at a pretty good deal and then waited for them to finish certification. We mostly were looking for a WAAS solution and like the increased resolution, touchscreen, integrated charts, and the ability to enter an...

    FS: Garmin 530

We recently replaced our Garmin 530 with an Avidyne 540, thus the reason for selling this unit. The unit was in perfect working order prior to removal. The unit underwent the fixed rate overhaul service from Garmin in late 2013. This is a complete package with all accessories needed...

    FS: 1955 Cessna 310

Would love to be. It's my telco engineering background/mentality with the need for redundancy that appeals. :) Probably not the right time though given how many other expenses I have right now. Plus the hassle of trying to sell my share in the Trinnie. In a couple of years that could always...

Just the standard fixed cost update of all the internals, as needed? Or WAAS upgrade?? ;)

Pan-Mass Challenge - Fighting back against Cancer

As some of you may know, Andy's family found out on March 3rd that their little girl, Abby, was re-diagnosed for a 3rd time. Her cancer is back. :( Today she is having a 3rd surgery to remove her tumor. All of my thoughts are headed down to Boston today hoping for the best possible outcome...

Pan-Mass Challenge - Fighting back against Cancer

I know I haven't posted here in quite awhile. I occasionally lurk, but life has just been so busy lately that I have trouble keeping up with multiple aviation boards. So I hope that this post doesn't seem too out-of-place. Over the last few years, I've been very inspired by a good friend of...

Suffolk VA (KSFQ) airport cafe re-opens

Good to know as well. Thanks Ron. I stopped there heading to Tampa from Boston a couple years ago, and was thinking of using it again in late May when heading down to Savannah.
