    Work from home ground rules

For marital harmony's sake, I would advise against tht. I ended up going back to the office to work because it was quieter... for a while. Otherwise I would strongly advise "man cave" or buy a used RV or trailer and work from that. Or better yet, work from your hangar or FBO. I went so far...

    Aircraft financing

Wings Financial Credit Union. I think there is some qualification needed (having worked, or a relative that worked in Aerospace, aviation, etc.) But very good experience and rates.

Who is PIC once the sun sets?

Question is: Did you know that the other pilot was not night current when you joined him/her for the flight and let it continue into evening twilight? I would say the other person remains PIC. But if the other pilot tells you that they are not night current and would like to transfer controls...

How do we (you) afford to fly?

Many good points already stated: Corporate job One car payment (2019 vehicle company pays me to have) All other cars are older vehicles I maintain myself (1984 to 2011) One child (married, so after the honeymoon, chances of more kids dropped off dramatically :p) Sold off the expensive cars...

    We ordered a Bushcat

There's quite a few folks with a channel on YouTube that fly the Bushcat, but I tend to watch Bushcat Tom and Darrell Curtis the most. Looks like an great plane to fly! A few video links (Bushcat Tom's plane getting the skin toward the end of the first video)

What are you "stick" guys using for a gust lock when parked?

Just like @Stan Cooper, I use the CL-100 Gust Lock on my Sportcruiser. https://www.ebay.com/itm/262276916499?hash=item3d10ec2513:g:dRsAAOSwnLdWtCjh

Race to an EV truck - skin in the game edition

I have a deposit on a Cybertruck...mostly because I live near LA and the body is supposed to be bullet proof. And the novelty of it. But not much else. I have an employee with a Hyundai Kona EV. She likes it, but discovered the downside of EV in that the last 20% of range depletes quickly...

    We ordered a Bushcat

Congratulations on the order! I really do like the Bushcat. If I didn't have my LSA, I'd be all over the Bushcat. It's a good value for the money!

Zodiac 601XL down at French Valley (F70) - Temecula, California

Aparently 2 miles from F70. Looks like it hit pretty hard nose first. Not sure if I'm seeing it right, but it looks like the wing skins are laying in front of the wreckage. RIP pilot. :(

Zodiac 601XL down at French Valley (F70) - Temecula, California

Sad - was looking out my office window thinking what a nice day it would be to be flying, then saw this on the local news page. https://ktla.com/news/local-news/pilot-dies-in-crash-of-small-plane-in-temecula/

    What's in Albany?

Thanks for sharing. That blows monkey chunks. The seller couldn't have disclosed all that before Bryan flew all the way out there? Cheeze-whiz.... 43 degrees and the temp gauge is nearly pegged? What the heck! Well, at least you didn't get mugged.

Whoa... this paragraph is GOLD. ;) Absolutely my wife and me. She has told me, "Just listen, don't solve the problem." :p

Please help me fulfill my wife’s dying request.

Thoughts and prayers to you and your wife. I wish I knew anyone with a Comanche. I think the Cardinal facebook page may be the best lead, but perhaps the FBO and/or local EAA chapter can help spread the word for a pilot and plane?
