I would ask the FSDO. I hear they are offering a lot of extensions due to COVID. Then when you get to the shop make sure they don’t sign off the transponder check till the annual is done, and you’ll be back in sync.

lol a Cessna 120. It was a nice smooth evening and tower cleared me straight in on the big runway so I was just riding that line having some fun. I could have pulled back the power and slowed her up a little.

I will be going with the tailbeacon over a new transponder because I have a GTX327 and I do like the idea of having private mode. I'm going with tail over wing because it puts it a little further away from the panel GPS/G5 (prevent interference) and I like keeping the symmetry of the nav lights.

Agree, I was just pointing out that it's there. It is great for practice in VFR conditions though.
