To me, air-to-air usually means that you can see something below(air, ground, water) the aircraft. To me it's obvious that these were taken from the ground. The last pic is the closest one. Keep in mind I'm not saying they are BAD pics at all, just not what I'd expect to see after an air...

I've had a few CFIs. The best, most thorough and safety-minded one that actually forced me to think, was a 22 year old kid. The worst one was a 30 year veteran who definitely knew his stuff, but he was on cruise control and just wanted to get his weekly salary. Not all of the young ones...

Still one thing I would like to see is the ability to draw on the moving map. We can draw on plates and taxi diagrams, so I'm hoping that eventually the maps will be included.
