So Jay and family are safe in New Braunfels. Yeah! I texted PJ Gustafson in Houston (Katy). As of 10:30 this AM they were safe with no damage!

He's pointed out that we're still on the insurance and are welcome to use it, but we've already pulled the trigger on the RV.

Went to get current in the 182 yesterday so we can bring it up, but had a mechanical issue. If the stars align we'll be set for the 182 in time. If the sun and moon align we'll be there for the weekend. Since I "believe" in Science I'm positive that the sun and moon WILL align. Our contingency...

Well, we may be driving it; we'll see. @mikea has the Cherokee back! Hopefully he'll fly it in. We may get checked out again in the 182, or perhaps the G1000 172. Those are the only "trip" planes available, unless we get checked out at a new outfit, which O don't foresee, or buy our own plane...
