    Grocery shopping/errands

Me too! You should have seen the orignal Borders... it was a little peice of heaven in Ann Arbor. 3 floors of floor to ceiling books packed wall to wall with cubby holes every now and then with a bench or chair in them. It wasn't quite the same feeling when they replicated it in a chain...

    Grocery shopping/errands

Don't have a SO right now but I could shop with some and not others. I really did apreaciate the ones that understood the need to look around but I would often feel pressure not to browse certain stores when at the mall with some of them.

    How To Lose Weight

Well, in most races running the whole thing is optional. I ran for 5 min, walked for 5 min at the start and progressivly did more walking then running. The Tinkerbell had a time limit, the race had to be compleated at no less then a 16 minute mile. My average pace over the whole race was 14.9...

    How To Lose Weight

My First Solo XC was manny moons ago, you must have found an old post. I've had my certificate for over 7 years. I was very uneasy starting the race AKA COMPLEATLY FREAKED OUT. After the race I was a TOTAL GRUMP for about 3 hours, when the exhaustion and hurt started wearing off. Right after...

    How To Lose Weight

Half marathons can be daunting but the one I just did was FUN too! My cousin and sister didn't put a gun to my head but, just about. They were all talking about a girls weekend in Disneyland (HECK YEA I WANT TO GO), but I couldn't go if I didn't run the Tinkerbell 1/2 marathon and it had a...

What does an Aerospace Engineer do?

I TOTALLY AGREE! Someone at work once asked me why I became an engineer, my imitate response was "I was duped" Which required further explanation, In high school I was really good with Math and Science. I SUCKED and hated English and had zero social skills. I barely passed public speaking. I...

What does an Aerospace Engineer do?

Where I agree that Electrical/Civil/Petroleum/Mechinical Engineers are all very different, you can not say that of Mechanical and Aerospace. Mechanical and Aerospace engineers are kissing cousins. Mechanical's are a bit more broad in what they study over Aerospace engineers and the...
