What's wrong with 11"? I have used my older 10.5 PRO in Cessna's, Bonanza's, Stearman's, Cubs, even a tiny S1 Pitts and never found it to big. I mount it in each plane with a RAM mount so it isn't on my leg or anything like that.

The regular IPAD's suck.... Have you read the specs? Buy the PRO series and it has a nice antiglare screen that is readable just fine in the direct sun.... I have the PRO 10.5 and never had a problem flying in the Texas sun in my Pitts or Eagle with the sun coming straight through the canopy...

Not every Bose cable will work with every headset! They are serial number specific....

The only thing I do different is crank it with the mixture full rich. I never put the mixture to cutoff starting a cold engine. My stuff always fires right up and I fly lots of different planes.

WOW! I never knew there was a seatbelt life requirement... I see guys do aerobatics in old biplanes all the tine and they are hanging upside down with 60 year old belts.... I have owned lots of planes from the 60's and 70's and I bet most of them had the original belts. I do know auto racing...

I was into racecars for many years before planes... I learned that trick 25 years ago and the only method I use. If you use a cutoff wheel the ends fray even with tape and trash gets in your line. I always used a aluminum block instead of the wood.
