At least by what's I've read...all the history I have found on the airlines and flying indicates pay was TERRIBLE!!!! for pilots before unions came around...not sure what authors I've read though.

Now I know why we couldn't get on the ual computer system or look at flights at united.com just a few minutes ago...should have taken the time to get on POA and browse around first...lol.

It was just me and Greg and another couple. I believe it was Sangria's after looking on-line. It was good...maybe that's because it was a break from what we had been eating at the airport....lol.

We are moving back to the Kansas City area...Missouri NOT Kansas...:) Got a chaplain residency at one of the hospitals there in town for a year. The programs begins in the fall so we will be moving soon.

IMHO...it wasn't your communication, Mari, that was the problem...last I knew the week started on Sunday (unless you're talking work-week, then its Monday) hence, next week is correct since you sent the message on a Saturday. THIS week implies the week we are currently in...NEXT week, the week...

May have to consider going to that...haven't been in a few years. And after this year, we won't be close to it anymore so this year is a great time to go.

So many news channels yet...how long I have to wait to actually get the news in the midst of the commentary is ridiculous! Years ago there was only the 1/2 hour long news like 3 or 4 times a day so there was very little time for commentary so they stuck more with the news facts...little time...

That's why Dave, I didn't mind the small group...gave me more chance to talk to everyone there and get to know some people better. That's not to say I wouldn't want those who couldn't make it this year to come back...would love to see them again at Gastons!

A couple of years ago we ate at a Mexican restaurant on the strip along the freeway that was quite good and not busy. I would go back there in a minute! Should have gone there last year but since we were on a tight budget, it was fast food for us!

Next year yet again does not interview with a church meeting I'm suppose to go to every year that's held the first weekend in June. After this year or next, that will change...will worry about that when the time comes. For 2012, I will have to fight to get the time off...but as Greg knows, my...
