Why we all want to own.

I agree, Mike (if one can afford it, of course). For those who are negative about it, keep renting and shut up and stop bitching about it:incazzato:...and the rest of us who choose to own will continue to enjoy the fruit of that ownership :raspberry:while we pray we can continue owning far into...

    2009 6Y9 Attendee List

Missa...for sure, for sure...gotta do that painted nail thing! That rates right up there with making a dam run at Gaston's. BTW, Missa...maybe we can sneak into Ron's abode and paint his nails while he's asleep...bet he'd LOVE that!

    2009 6Y9 Attendee List

Funny, I didn't know "we" made that decision...:nonod::confused::crazy: albeit the airplane is down and we can't afford to fix it right now. Catching a ride with someone definitely sounds more appealing than driving although I haven't been to Michigan except at the Detroit airport so it could...

    Aviation Down -- Airventure Up...?

Greg and I did not venture over to see Jeff after all but visited with friends instead. Did go over to our airplane for a minute and noticed the crowd was AT LEAST as big as last year.

    Aviation Down -- Airventure Up...?

IMHO, none of the guesses as to the numbers at OSH being up are scientific but pure guesses. As far as economy, every time I talk to my sister she knows someone else who has lost a job. She has not lost hers only because the workers agreed to work fewer hours per week when asked to do so...

    Oshkosh 2009

David I have not read any of your previous threads but wanted to say that it is a good idea to take any comments via the web with a grain of salt...some times with a huge grain of salt...there are people who seem to get their jollies out of being critical...and others just come across that way...

Our 27th Consecutive Oshkosh -- Anyone else going?

I have to say I wasn't THAT close (lol) but we were only maybe 200 feet above them when I was thinking that.

Our 27th Consecutive Oshkosh -- Anyone else going?

Funny you say that, Kent, 'cause awhile back when I was flying over the Rocky Mountains via airline flying into Denver from somewhere (can't remember where since I've flown so many places this year)...I was thinking, "Gee, after awhile of flying over the mountains, I could see how one mountain...
