Phillips XC 20-50 seems to be a standard for O-470 operators, and we also use it. We get 45 to 50 PSI depending on the oil temps, which tracks closely to OAT.

The 182 has a large and powerful rudder, when compared to other types like PA-28's for example.

Bring a life jacket for all the occupants. Then you can more comfortably make the jump over the gulf from the everglades to KEYW. Alternatively, fly Rt 1 from Largo to KEYW and enjoy the view. Either way you'll probably be significantly over water and will appreciate the life vests. Amazon...

I have no first hand knowledge, but have been told that all that gap seal stuff adds short field performance and climb performance, but not much for cruise speed.
