The reason the iPad mini 6 is the perfect device for the cockpit is that it has Touch ID on the power button. You don’t have to look straight at it or put your thumb over the button on the front which used to take up screen real estate. I love my mini!

I think the new Flight Design F2 is worth looking at. Very spacious with a baggage area that can hold foldable bikes, impressive useful load and range, panel mounted airbags and parachute and they say it ‘flies like a 172’, although it’s cabin is wider.

The new Flight Design F2 certified version looks like it matches up with those specs. Available next year.
