You wouldn’t have been deferred if you failed the color vision test. You would have been issued a medical that says: “NOT VALID FOR NIGHT FLIGHT OR BY COLOR SIGNAL CONTROL.” So it has to be something else, no?

I used to use an Adobe product to scan my aircraft logbooks but now I use the Notes App on the iPhone. It does a great job for free and it’s very fast. I then print them to PDF on the Mac and save them in GoodReader to Apple’s iCloud.

The A50 was originally built in 1929, so they managed to recreate it in the original (and expensive) corrugated aluminum. If I could afford a new Ford Tri-Motor, I would want it built as originally designed, too. But, if you want it with smooth aluminum and the same engine, here’s an option...
