    Any transient parking at KMIA?

According to airnav review, it’s $250 plus $11/gal fuel. That kinda of money can get you a several Uber rides.

Do I need to keep Superceded WB and other info in POH?

I went through over a hundred W&B entries for my plane and found about 20 errors (math, transposing digits, omissions), in the end it resulted it the weight being off by 2lbs, I keep the W&B sheets and my spreadsheet I created in my POH, which got too fat with supplements for the original binder...

    How accurate are garmin avionics?

The accuracy might be more limited by the display resolution than electronics sensors.

    Proper VFR Flight Following Call

Why do they care where you are on initial call? Or your current altitude? Once they make radar contact they will give you what position they see. Some reply with “position checks”. They also ask for altitude (“say altitude”) AFTER they’ve given you the correct barometer setting, so they can...

What are Currently the Best EFB’s for IPad?

I can’t think of page that takes more than 3 taps to get to with Garmin Pilot. Generally is a tap on the map (like an airport), then tap on one of the pages in a radial menu (like weather, directto, information), then for information tap on a submenu (frequencies, procedures, fuel). If you have...

Under insured and sweating a little bit..

Or they may use vref or some other appraisal tool that may not accurately reflect the value of your plane. I would recommend getting an AP or two to give you a detailed estimate of how much it would take to repair the plane.

    Approach plates in Garmin 660

You can also expand the plate to full screen and zoom in, I use it for situational awareness. If wired to a garmin radio (like the 255), you can use it to transfer frequencies. And the 660 can only connect to 1 Bluetooth device at a time.

Will Garmin up their game to 12” displays?

You’re doing something wrong if 10 inches isn’t enough.

How does a GTN and GNS combination work?

Can GNS handle airways? I vaguely remember they couldn’t and if GTN has an airway how would GNS handle it?

Will Garmin up their game to 12” displays?

I don’t have the room for 12”, would be nice to have a faster processor to improve the database loading times.

    Headset Evaluation

There’s 2 kind of audio BT connections, 1 is a phone connection and the other is a plain audio connection. I can’t see having 2 phone connections but you might be able to have 2 audio connections.

    Headset Evaluation

First decide if you prefer ear plug style or classic ear muff style. Everyone has a different head shape/size, if you go to an air show you can probably try most of the models out. I chose A20s way back when ANR was relatively new, they work for me even on 12 hour days, but they are pricey...

    $150000 of Avionics Stolen.

As mentioned database updates will fail, but many if not most GPS units are not acting in isolation, they’re interconnected to transponders(ADSB), engine monitors, etc, and assuming they don’t take the time to copy the configuration files from one to the other, the owner is going quickly see...

With the new ACS rules, is GPS alone sufficient for IR?

For boats, they had to take sights using a sextant. Okay, I’ll get off your lawn now.

First plane? Archer, Arrow, etc. any recommendations

I don’t want to brag (I’m kidding, sure I do [emoji2]), but not only can a Mooney do 150+ kts, but it will do it on 8.5 gph without tailwinds. But it’s wingspan is 37’, so no extra room and is a tight fit for some hangars. I don’t desire more speed because I can travel a 1000 miles in 8 hours...

Alec Baldwin shoots and kills cinematographer.

I thought he was also a (executive) producer which means he had a lot more responsibility than just an actor reading some lines.

GFC 500 install quote is outrageous

The GFC AP disconnect button should stop runaway trim, I don’t see why this should be a big deal. Your first instinct if AP is doing something should be to disconnect it, stabilize the plane, and check for any annunciations and if flying VFR at high altitudes, only then engage the AP.
