I took advantage of this hurricane (78 deg highs!) to get out to the hangar this weekend and wash and wax the plane for Oshkosh. Otherwise, she’d just have to sit there covered in bugs, lol.

The ComancheTown group has a block of spaces reserved in VAC. I’ll be part of that group.

When ya’ll say it’s closed to VFR arrivals, do they just send you away at Fiske? How do you let them know you have a reserved spot?

Well that’s not terrible then. I’ll have a camping spot/parking spot reserved, so not worried about it being too full.

Don’t the mass arrivals come in on Sunday? Is that schedule posted somewhere? Count me as one that was also going to spend the night an hour or so out on Sunday and fly-in Monday first-thing. Now I’m rethinking this plan.
