Ok Fl pilots, which of you caused Falcon 9 to scrub

I assume they put a TFR like this in place because of the trajectory of not only the spacecraft (it's going up AND coming back down, remember), but also any possibility of things Going Badly. You don't want to be near something like that if things go Tango Uniform.

    #OSH21 Jambalaya/Chili Party Tuesday

I see margaritas have been covered... perhaps I need to bring my Knockout Bourbon Punch or Planter's Punch or something along those lines.

    #OSH21 Jambalaya/Chili Party Tuesday

I think it probably depends on when a Camp Bacon rep can get to Scholler to reserve space and what is available.

    #OSH21 Jambalaya/Chili Party Tuesday

For the folks running Camp Bacon... sometimes it can be hard to figure out where you are (I had to search quite a bit in '19... waitaminnut, this may be by design! :D ), I highly recommend the use of https://what3words.com/ - it maps basically the entire globe and marks ever 3 square meter in...

    Tri Pacer down

Man. That looks like an awful crash scene. Sucks to make it 8 decades on this rock just to die like that. :(

    More on noise at GAI

Every weekday afternoon/evening, and allll da*n day on Saturday and Sunday, all I hear and smell is the incessant buzzing of 2-cycle engines piercing the air (can literally hear one right now, about 3 houses down)... and people are complaining about the occasional airplane that is flying into an...

    Thinking about a Bus/RV

Hence why my first RV is going to be something along the lines of a Wanderlodge or Prevost-based coach. Hard pass on the sticks and staples. One other thing to check out to help with steering stability (especially in handling steer tire blowouts): Safe-T-Plus

Here we go again. More accidents in Colorado (updated title)

Not much cooler here in St. Louis. We'll hit 115 heat index today. :cryin:

    1965 wreckage found (maybe)

We've been seriously considering a move to the Sacramento/Napa Valley area, but the two things keeping us from really pulling the trigger are the fires and the water crisis (which are obviously linked). Last thing we want to do is contribute to the problem.

    Funnel Cloud Up Close

Pretty decent editing is the story here.

    1965 wreckage found (maybe)

It's literally a drought, though. Water levels throughout the region are depleted.

Burning smell on takeoff. Any suggestions?

Read that last sentence again and really think about risk management and what you'd think if you read a post from someone else. If you try this, your screenname may just become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Take it back to the shop. They aren't done with their work.

    28 Seconds to Survive

Clearly they weren't taking magnetic dip into account if they were only using the whiskey compass. If they were actually using the compass on the AHRS that hadn't gotten itself sorted yet, and they KNEW that... I don't know. Just a giant bowl of utter incompetency that unfortunately killed a...
