Terrain data and rendering is improving in ForeFlight. First step towards that is Synthetic Vision (launching this week), which has much better terrain in general and greatly improved for north of 59 lat (for our Alaska flyers).

ForeFlight does not purchase or use any data from Seattle Avionics.

This will be fixed in the next release (6.4).

Will work to have that come up at a lower zoom level soon.

We shortened that to about 3 minutes and reset the auto stop timer if we detect additional movement.

Part of the plan, requires some refactoring of different bits to make that work within the flow of flight planning. Breakthroughs (most outside our control) are required to make this reliable, useful, and affordable. Monitoring.

I am. Perhaps we should have called the more capable "Pro" subscription tier "Premium" to reflect it simply means "contains features that are really hard / expensive to build and require more support" instead of "for professional pilots". I don't think Pro is an unfair place to put this...

In the future? :) We find customers don't like not knowing what's coming and also don't like being told what's coming only to find out what is coming was delayed. Aviation has a lot of this going on, so we just keep quiet and announce what's coming when it is here.
