I flew in 3 times VFR. All 3 times I had to hold or land early due to a crash or incident and wait for the airport to re-open. But hearing the "rock your wings" and "welcome to osh kosh" was worth it.

Got 2 quotes, waiting on the 3rd. First place was a local installer company, using Lindsay windows, 20 windows, 23k. Second was a larger place, using Marvin windows, on sale came out to 38k. I was good with about AMU per window, but 1700 each is a big jump for a more name brand window.

I flew into KRFD during my PPL. I remember they gave me vectors on the way in, I had to talk to clearance before ground, and it was busy. But it seemed like more helpful coming in, and one extra step leaving.
