    We just put a Higher Power door in our new hangar. It’s great when it’s done. Our contractor and engineer couldn’t see eye to eye on the installation. Lead to delays and some ire. But we are happy with it now! Required 3 phase electric which also was a hassle but might be due to pump size.

    It’s sad that it came to this. Sounds like clearly you had NO chance of getting issued. Better research or advice from someone would have lead you to realize that it would be a huge mistake to walk into an AME.

    It is a Westwind. Was developed by Aero Commander/Israeli aircraft. This was one of the later ones. There are only a handful of these left flying. One of the first capable corporate/business jets. For me it’s one of those you hear about but never see.
