Wasn't the A&P that did the conversion, It was done a long time ago. I no longer have any info on it.

Why no go for a NEW engine? and get all mew parts. The overhauled engine can use parts that are already at low limits.

There is nothing impressive as 5 vigilantes breaking the sound barrier abreast the ship at flight deck level. Every one in the ship felt it.

The replacement Cessna is called Donald-son (sp) filter, they are good for 5 years.

An A&P-IA's job is to develop a list of discrepancies, no more, no less. As soon as the maintenance starts the mechanic is an A&P, not a IA. The trouble is many folks don't know when one job starts and the other one quits. Example... Wheel bearings, the wheel must be removed to see the bearings...

I can no longer pass the tests, I am scheduled later this month to see the retinologist (sp) to find what we can to do.

That is not inspecting, this should have already been done. Once again, many can't tell the difference between inspecting and maintenance.
