Help! House got flooded, need plumbing advice

I replaced my washing machine hoses a few months ago. Rubber hoses, barely 4 years old and one hose looked like a giant bratwurst, about 3 times bigger than the other. Replaced them both with stainless. Never thought about the dishwasher, time to check that one!

    What happens when you die

I heard this for cars, but the same can be applied to airplanes. "My biggest fear is when I die is my wife sells my airplane for what I told her it cost."

    CO level?

I've only had the plane since October, so I haven't had it through an annual yet. It wasn't checked for leaks before buying though. Exhaust was pretty new (2 or 3 years old, less than 100 hours) so attention wasn't put on that.

    CO level?

So I bought an electric carbon monoxide detector with a digital display on it. I know I've got an issue in my airplane (saw and smelled exhaust this weekend through the heat vents, pretty obvious!) but it got me wondering is there an acceptable level above 0? I saw 13-16ppm during taxi and run...

At what point to pilots stop flying IFR

My CFII was 84 or 85 last year, took me into actual whenever we were able. He still flies a corporate Navajo once in a while too.

It looks like I'm not flying.....

Less than 1/4 mile vis from fog here for the last two days, and its forecast to stay this way until at least Tuesday. Apparently it was so foggy for so long the Packers had to take a bus to KMKE to fly to their playoff game, the charter plane couldn't get in to KGRB.

    Abandoned airplanes

Do they count as rotting if they're in a heated hangar? There's a large hangar (might even be the largest on the field) with at least 10 aircraft in it. In talking with a former mechanic at the field a couple years ago, he said the guy that owns them lost his medical in the early 2000's and...
