I have a set in the 10 as well. Pilot side has a LEMO connection which is cool, however I get some alternator whining though which is probably something I did wrong on the wiring.

When talking about builds go with hours over years. I spent 1380 hours over 3.5 years building mine. That time might take someone else 10 years, or 18 months. Also consider every option you do above the standard kit is going to take time, energy and investment. I spent quite a bit on mine...

If I had the alpha and a computer with those recommended specs, I would tell you that those should be the minimum specs... assuming no major optimization is being done prior to release.

Tinker with experimental aircraft. No A&P needed, only need an A&P for an annual condition inspection. If you get a repairmans cert for the airplane then you don't even need an A&P for that, you can do it yourself.

I don't see the problem. If he feels the company is deemed 'essential' then it's his call if they stay open or not. Likewise if employees feel the risk is too great then they should use PTO or in the case of non-exempts ask for the time off. Ultimately if they have such a hard time with it...
