    Air-to-Air Cessna 172 - Polished

Great pics. I polished my spinner this weekend, the thought of doing an entire plane is daunting.

    SS hinge

eBay has some for $50, more than you need but that’s fairly cheap as far as certified plane parts go.

If you ever have an alternator fail in flight...

I went with one of these in my 172 after the first alternator failure, so I was able to catch the second alternator failure pretty quick. In my 10 I put a bright yellow 'Low power' light that blinks

Was thinking about a Bose A20 Headset

I have a set in the 10 as well. Pilot side has a LEMO connection which is cool, however I get some alternator whining though which is probably something I did wrong on the wiring.

    Cirrus SR22 vs. Vans RV-10

When talking about builds go with hours over years. I spent 1380 hours over 3.5 years building mine. That time might take someone else 10 years, or 18 months. Also consider every option you do above the standard kit is going to take time, energy and investment. I spent quite a bit on mine...

Q - How a Flying Club Works for an Owner

My first plane ownership was a partnership between a friend and I. We bought a 172 and split the restoration and everything 50/50. Both our names were on the registration. After a few years we decided to bring another few people in and we had two other guys we knew that were interested. So...

    Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

If I had the alpha and a computer with those recommended specs, I would tell you that those should be the minimum specs... assuming no major optimization is being done prior to release.

    Online A&P course

Tinker with experimental aircraft. No A&P needed, only need an A&P for an annual condition inspection. If you get a repairmans cert for the airplane then you don't even need an A&P for that, you can do it yourself.

Local flight school CEO threatens employees in internal email over virus complaints

I don't see the problem. If he feels the company is deemed 'essential' then it's his call if they stay open or not. Likewise if employees feel the risk is too great then they should use PTO or in the case of non-exempts ask for the time off. Ultimately if they have such a hard time with it...
