I did a QB 10... There is no change in tools you'll need. You will still have a considerable amount of building to do so you'll use them all. The cost perspective that's entirely up to you. I find the time saved on a QB a bargain, but your perception of a dollar could be different than mine...

I could see it if someone builds a single panel VFR setup with a single ADHRS driving it... Loss of power, loss of panel... Loss of ADHRS loss of info... But hey it's VFR so just look out the window. On an IFR set up I would hope for some redundancy.

My entire career I've been accessible 24/7... As I've advanced up the ladder I've gotten less 'in the weeds' and no longer get pulled into operational emergencies. In fact the last year or so I put my phone on the charger at some point and don't touch it until the next morning.

F1 or Harmon Rocket… anything else and the line guys will make fun of you when you leave.

I play MS2020 with a VR headset on and have a blast, it's really cool. If I want to do some advanced chair flying I use Xplane and have particular views set up to support that. It's much less about flying and more about just pressing buttons. I use one of the Aerobask Jets that have panels...
