Well....I got close. Taxied in this evening after a scenic flight and as I wrote down the hobbs, my heart sank. I logged 99.9 hours this year. Should have landed long and taken the next exit. Lol

Yup. The ones carrying legally generally aren’t the ones I need to worry about anyways.

While I can see a CCW while checking a DL status, I generally don’t do this until after making contact. If someone is carrying and tells me, I just tell them “don’t show me yours and I won’t show you mine”. Usually lightens the mood with most people.

Having only been to Bahamas once, I wanna go back and experience more. What's the price level of food, hotels etc on the out island? We only went to Atlantis in Nassau and luckily it was all inclusive or I wouldn't have eaten that week (we had to sign our receipts even though we didn't pay)...

Do you have an EASA license or did you fly N-reg?

For an arrangement like that, it might be better (for both of you) to arrange for a daily fee rather than per hour

According to personal experience with ForeFlight, ADS-B signal in that area is none to moderate at 5-7000ft (roughly 4-6000 AGL)

The weather was terrible that night with rain showers, temps in the 30s and a snow storm moving in.

I believe it is because your tower/ground/CD requested the flight plan from the national system, but hasn’t been accepted yet.

My last three checkrides have been credit card (flight school owner was the DPE, so paid rental and fee together), and two personal checks. Three different DPEs.
