    New logbook - Jeppesen

Same. Some of my students have a "Day/Night" column. The way I see it, if it's not night, it's day....so why log day?

    ATL - Delta’s ATP class

Agreed with the above. I did my ATP/CTP (not at Delta) when I had roughly 1300hrs and a few hours of turbine time (30ish). I felt some of the information might have gone above my head when I was a 450 hour pilot (then again, you might be smarter than me...lol). I also feel I understood the...

Looking for a Instrument/Commercial time building buddy in New England.

The NE is a part of the country I have yet to explore. I have a bucket list of visiting all 50 state capitol buildings, and I am conveniently missing Montpelier, Augusta and Concord.

I think it's time to quit Hertz

ND doesn't do temp tags on the outside of the vehicle, we have a piece of paper in the rear windshield until the plates arrive. That being said, most rental cars here are titled in ID or SD once the plates arrive.

    Proliferation of schools using callsigns

Then you have UND who changed their school mascot from the Fighting Sioux to Fighting Hawks, but their call signs are still "Sioux". Except student solos which are "Green"

End of the Rope: My Flight to Hollywood

Damn. I didn't know you actually had a personal connection to it when you told me to go see it.

I think it's time to quit Hertz

Haven't physically tried Sixt yet, but have a couple reservations pending for trips later this year. What's nice is they will status match Hertz President's Circle (maybe Gold, idk) and their prices are much lower. Also I like that I can pick "BMW or similar" rather than the standard rental fleet.

    Seeking Accelerated Multi Engine Training

https://www.lakesareaaviation.com/ KLXL Little Falls, MN Jake has MEIs on staff and access to local DPEs with availability. I did my ME and CFII there and was happy with the service, but have no other reasons to recommend them as I'm not associated in any way. I believe they'll even arrange for...

My only advice is that you need to stop in KBIS and pick me up

Monkey will be heading south again: KRAP or bust

The terminal itself is nice, but not much to do there other than relax. Also, the airport is several miles outside of town, so that limits the restaurant options.

    (NA) Not a LEO, but. . .

I am a cop (but not a lawyer). Your list is fairly accurate, but 2 and 3 are generally not correct (at least not here). I can ASK anything I want from a passenger, but unless I suspect them of committing a crime, I can’t DEMAND them to ID themselves or not leave the stop and walk away. On the...

Took a puppy home from the pound

Had to put down one of our dogs in January. Adopted this little puppy at the beginning of February. Our other old dog pretends she doesn’t like the puppy, but when she thinks we’re not watching they’re playing together.

Right seat time in Phenom 300e??

SIC in a single pilot airplane can also be done with an approved SIC PDP program if they have it in their OpSpecs.

Passenger Pickup - KORD Chicago O'Hare Edition

Having done international transfers at ORD with separate tickets a couple of times in the last year, I’d say she has plenty of time to catch the 6-8pm flight to the city on the east side of our fine state. Then you can pick her up there and avoid Chicago altogether

Map of US Airports of Enry

XWA does have a nice FBO with a nice pilot's lounge, but as Ari said, it's WAY out of town. Customs is in the same building as the FBO, however, I was told by one of our pilots the customs agent working XWA would actually need to drive out from MOT as they don't have anyone stationed at XWA. MOT...
