    Life-Changing Bands (or Songs)

Alice in Chains has some really really powerful, raw songs. The opening riffs on the Jar of Flies albums gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. And it's hard to not feel a little emotional listening to Nutshell. Rooster is written about Jerry Cantrell's father who was a Vietnam veteran...

    Life-Changing Bands (or Songs)

My wife LOVES Frank Turner ever since we saw him open for Jason Isbell. I'm not a huge fan of his music, but he is great live. The Interrupters are awesome as well, my wife became a fan of them when we saw them open for Frank.

Long haul flying - what a PITA

I almost bid the 787 this past summer when a vacancy bid showed me at 70%. Glad I didn't, cause I'd be close to 90% now and on reserve. I was a bit apprehensive about the long legs it did, and I wasn't sure how I would adapt to it coming from the NB, but the efficiency and commutability of the...

Who here lives in Eastern Pennsylvania?

As someone else said, I am based out of EWR for a large airline. DEN and ORD are also on the list of consideration. Both of them have their pluses and minuses I live in NH, so there isn’t going to be a huge change in climate or culture.
