My biggest issue is the heat/humidity. I had a battery powered fan going in the tent all night, and that helped a little but waking up clammy and damp just isn't my jam.

I have a few thoughts/questions. My first time to OSH was back in 2019 with my Dad. He didn't want to camp, so we stayed at the dorms. That was OK, but I felt like we were missing out on a lot by staying off site, and it would have been nice to have a place to go to during the day to recharge...

So glad I got woken up by a weather alert at 0400 for a little bit of rain and two rumbles of thunder. Heading home today, weather looks iffy back that way over the next few days and I need a few days at home before my next trip. Been a blast, camping out sure is convenient.

There is both an STC you can get for the 200 that increases the MTOW into type rating territory, and some (or all?) new build 200's have a MTOW above 12.5.

First time I went out there I flew at 90 knots and wrote down my power settings with flaps up and approach flaps, cowl flaps open. Then I did a few short approaches. I was fairly new to the airplane at that point, so I wanted to get a feel for that. Non issue.

I don't think you'll have to worry about that issue.
