I’ve never heard of these portable T hangers before. If you have a pile of independent hangars that are identical, I imagine somebody crafty could put together an apparatus to move them. Get somebody like Mike Patey involved.

Pack(s) might have never been selected on? On the CRJ the outlet valve is ~6”. Pressurizing the jet to 6lb delta on the ground that valve is 1/2 or 3/4 open and the amount of air coming out is tremendous. Just trying to add some context to the air involved in these systems.

The prop strike and documentation after the fact do not bother me.

I’m not familiar with this application. I would think it should be obvious if 3/8 bolts are installed. Removing them should not be necessary.

I don’t interpret those instructions as direction to drill a 3/8 hole. Any decent mechanic should’ve been asking questions before that happened.

I would also agree that 3.5 hours sounds reasonable. To comment on other posts here, they should also be billing you for paperwork, parts research, packaging ect. Businesses cant give time away.

Owners need to be aware, send 3 mechanics out to inspect an airplane and they will likely find 3 separate issues. Send them out again and I bet they find more. IMO, its not realistic to count on an inspection coming back clean since it was just inspected a few days before. I cant tell you how...

Patey is also building from established designs, though obviously quite modified. The production of scrappy is unfeasible for mass production, and is very crude compared to what dark aero is doing. Thats not to say he doesn't produce some good results.
