Well, I certainly found the most expensive way to get to Florida.

A wile back I got a call from FSDO. I had aborted a TO because airspeed did not come alive when it should have. Ended up being a frozen pito tube. It was a friendly conversation, tower must have reported the aborted TO

Nice job PIC. Glad your family is safe Maybe your insurance company will ask for a teardown and inspection. It would be in their best interest to make sure you will not have future problems.

Taxiway closed by notam due to snow/ice

So here is a parallel example, In Juneau after a certain time of year the float pond is closed. I know lots of folks who use it when ATIS says it's closed. Tower will permit you to use the float pond, but it's at your own risk.

Writing your own Will without lawyer

    P3 Orion range

I was in a P3 squadron. I don't recall the max duration but I know 12 to 15 hours was not uncommon. When on station #4 was normally secured. #1,2,3 engines had generators #4 did not have a generator.

    First Airplane Recommendations

No real popular but the Beech B19, B23 and B24 are solid planes. Low in maintenance and priced fairly well in the market today. A lot of them have 2 doors. edit: Welcome to POA

    Beech C23 Sundowner 4-1-1

:yeahthat: Very true, nail your speed. I always use full flaps. Adding a bit of power also helps. You will use up a bit more runway, but land smoothly.
