    Fatal: walked into prop

Having flown and worked around Turboprops for years, you MUST enter the prop Arc. We turn the blades to inspect the composite blades. This is crucial. We turn the blades to inspect the prop deicers. We turn the blades as we look into the inlet. We need to put prop ties on the propeller. All of...

I had my seat slide, then lock in on a 172 once. Startling to say the least.

    Introduction from a gay pilot

Why does that have to be the defining post? I didn't join and say hey, I am a straight pilot, or asexual or whatever? Who cares... Happy to share the space here if you share a love of aviation and discussing it. Some people are making some non PC jokes, so what... ignore it if you don't like it...

Also, are you not interested in talking to any of us straight pilots?

    Introduction from a gay pilot

That's what I wonder... why does sexual preference come into play when being part of an aviation community? I have lots of gay friends, and lots of them in the aviation industry, I don't really think their sexuality is the defining factor... I see their character and personhood as the defining...

    Well, this looks like fun...

They don't even think about GA. They get told where the TFR goes, and they put it in the system... no cares given.

Use of simulator for experienced pilot of heavier aircraft

Helps me... with the new MSFS some of the small fields I fly into are very accurate. Has given me a good sense of the terrain, VFR landmarks, etc.

    Air-to-Air Cessna 190

One of my all time favourite looking airplanes. It doesn't get much better than that, honestly. Had the pleasure of seeing and sitting in one at a local airshow, other than that don't see them around very often.

Thinking of downsizing to a fun 2 seater

I think the best one you mentioned so far was the Starduster (II). You have an IFR tourer in the arrow, go extreme and get a open cockpit low and slow and fast airplane. That would be my choice... there is also one for sale near me so I could be influenced lol. If not a starduster, something...

    Air Wagner..... He’s baaaaackk.

Aggressive, sudden maneuvering and a completely unstabilized, un necessary approach... its gonna bite you one day

    Air Wagner..... He’s baaaaackk.

Its not a rookie thing. You can see him getting distracted. This is what I said above. She interrupts a radio call about Ice, she is talking constantly through the approach... probably nervous as hell. regardless of 10 hour IFR experience or 1000 you should be maintaining a sterile cockpit...

    Air Wagner..... He’s baaaaackk.

His wife grabbing stuff, chatting while in critical phases such as a missed approach, talking to the radio.. man he has to train her to stop... but thats the least of his worries.
