    Talking on the radio improvements

English being my 3rd language I was also very scared of comms. This is how I did it. Got myself a handheld and on my drives to and from work would listen to local airports/approach frequencies and repeat aloud everything I heard (pilots and controllers). Now this might not work if your area is...

    Extraordinary Feats of Music

Literally anything by Matteo Mancuso. I consider him to be the best guitarist (and this coming from a purist prog-snob).

    Hiring standards are dropping

My company has 32 employees. We have 4 private bathrooms. At ANY given time at least 3 are occupied. Means 10% of my workforce is not working while getting paid.

(Piston) Engine Failure Rate: 1/3200 hrs, yikes!

I don't know, almost 400k miles on my original engine 2000 4runner. NEVER had any repairs done on the engine (other than change spark plugs). Leaks very little oil, and frankly, there were more than few missed oil changes and deferred maintenance. The only issue was failed alternator back when...

Company in England experiments with human waste to produce a 'net zero' aviation fuel

I smell (no pun) a STC for new type of seat, plumbed directly to the fuel tank. Generate fuel while you fly.

    I’m calling the peak

No, that one is gone, but there is another one for $240k. Or if low wings are more your thing, perhaps that 77 Archer for $200k will be better suited ;)

There is still one listed. Is it the "Oakruin Moonupper"?

    I’m calling the peak

That might be the case. Despite prices shooting up within the past few months the inventory seems stagnant. I have seen at least 4 tail numbers for which the previous listings were still available in the depths of the internet. The planes were bought for mid $80s (assuming full asking was paid)...
