Long haul flying - what a PITA

I have more than a hundred 6-hour flights that entailed about 8 hours in the seat total. 6 hours spent with the right side of my body at a higher elevation than my left, 1 out of 10, do not recommend. There really is no question as to why I have degenerative disc disease. It is well documented...

Without Explicitly stating that apple sucks

Doesn't iTunes unpack that for you? It used to. My desktop is a Mac, so I don't have these problems anymore. I can drag and drop from the tablet directly onto the Mac's screen with the mouse, sync the tablet, or airdrop it.

    I Like Night Flight

According to the ole logbook I have 165 carrier arrested landings, 97 of them are at night. I guess I like flying at night too.

    Pilot Career Question

But those King Airs do have some sweet pointy things and gadgets to play with. You should try flat turns (0* AOB) inside a dark box, it's pretty amazing.

NA why do people bag leaves and throw them away?

I think that leaf raking came about, like most things do, from the big advertising firms that tell us how we want to live our lives. They say that we want to live in a 3000 sqft box approximately 36 inches from our neighbors and that those boxes should be surrounded by green grass that is not...

    Tesla Pickup Unveil

Haven't you heard? If you manage to get an EV that doesn't spontaneously combust in the driveway, you will be saddled with a battery replacement every two years at a cost of at least two 70's era 172s. At least that is what ALL of the rhetoric is in MSM these days.

Weird placement of car parts. Why?

My 2014 i3 requires you to remove the frunk to change the 12V battery and then you have to reprogram the iDrive system to tell it that the battery is new.

    Savannah

I got my IC out of KSAV and live close enough that it is my favorite destination to walk around and do things. Signature is going to be closer to the action for UBER/Taxi purposes. I flew out of Sheltair's side with Fly Corps and they are usually pretty busy but their prices seemed to be higher...

the "not worthy of it's own thread" thread

There are definitely certain email addresses that I've assigned an auto-delete rule to. Because, "Lady, I don't care that your internet and phones are down and I certainly do not care that your service has been restored," and " Sir, this is a Wendy's" are not "professional" or "appropriate"...
