    Sold 1947 Cessna 140

yea we seen similar efficiencies to the 140 at almost any speed as long as it was leaned… I guess the point may be if I’m joining other friends with slower planes to not arrive too far ahead of them- well at least after a few times of kicking their butt! Lol I tell em it’s my turn to grade...

    Rapid erratic vacuum gauge bounce

On my 2nd training flight we noticed this and headed home to get it checked out. Mooney M20F. The vacuum gauge needle was rocking back and forth rapidly- I couldn't post the video but you can see it in the screen shot… Any ideas? I’m going to have my mechanic take a look but I appreciate the...

    Sold 1947 Cessna 140

I know… but at least for trips it calculates out to very similar burn. In no wind the 140 gets about 20mpg and the Mooney calculates out to 18mpg… During my first time out in it we flew around at 6gph for quite a while. Would work for a short burger run w the boys… so I don’t totally...

Worst Flying Movie I've Ever Seen

Kinda, it was a poorly produced production- certain minute details given long spanses of unnecessary time, a few plot points repeated, lengthy preaching, and just over the top portions that were not related to the real story at all. one point his daughter in back accidentally ate a peanut...

Worst Flying Movie I've Ever Seen

We watched “on a wing and a prayer” on prime last night. About the king air who’s pilot died and passenger w some raining was in co pilots seat and landed it successfully. It was way overdone and drawn out. Could have been great but was a big disappointment too, and way too full of religious...
