venmo/paypal is probably my favorite just because its easy and instant. i have a square reader for credit cards which is fine but have to pay the fee. i've never had anyone try to dispute the payment so thats never been a concern of mine. agree on the feeling of carrying a bunch of cash around.

My approach is you pay one fee to get your cert. I don't charge for retests except travel fee if you started your test with me. I recognize this is unique

It's not even a discontinuance. The test had not even started. There's nothing to discontinue. All it did was waste a slot on a good weather day that someone else who was qualified could've used. I tend to gently remind schools of this sometimes when they mention how backed up the schedule is.

More single point data... For me, Private Pilot ASEL has an 80% pass rate. Initial CFI's right now are under 60% but thats only a sample size of 12. My average across all checkrides is 70%. I do Private/Instrument/Commercial/ATP/CFI/CFII/MEI in Gliders, Single, and Multi.
