As others have pointed out, PDC is only supported at a relatively small number of major airports. I thought I read recently that the FAA is pursuing an initiative to deliver clearances digitally via e-mail/EFB. It would seem to be a no-brainer since so much else is available digitally already...

It's been many, many years since I had a claim with them, but way back then they settled quickly and with no hassle.

The biggest reason for me is I use it in 121 flying and the ability to secure and hide the wifi is the biggest feature benefit. That's a complete non-issue in private flying. Feature-wise, there's not any difference that I can see.
