    2 G5's vs. Aspen 1000 Pro Max

I am looking at the dual 275’s vs remanufactured Aspen C3 Pro and the Aspen is considerably cheaper and will interface with the autopilot. I’m probably going to add the second Aspen mfd as well.

    Garmin Databases

Check with your avionics installer or Garmin, they are funny about data bases!! My 750/650 data bases expired, and my subscription had run out, and they had reduced functionality. No, direct to from the flight plan, which is a pain IFR.

    Ordered new Tecnam P2010

    Boost Oxygen

Yes! It’s far superior to the stuff at Dollar General! :D

Help me pick the right plane for my mission

I’m guessing that thing burns 40-45 GPH, so that’s $225, pay the pilot $3-500 per day unless they get paid by charter hour. Maintenance reserves on these 40+ year old pressurized twins ain’t cheap either, plus insurance, pilot training, subscriptions, staffing. I’m sure they are netting some...

Is it the dumbest thing I've ever done....

My FIL had issues getting into my Conquest a couple years ago and he’s not going to suddenly become more mobile! My dogs like the club seats, they can sit with my wife.,

Is it the dumbest thing I've ever done....

And I’ve changed tail numbers on 7-8 planes, other than the cost to paint it isn’t difficult and not bad luck, so far!

What does a "normal" market look like?

We aren’t seeing the subprime mortgages here like 2007, young people are putting cash down. We just sold our house, mid-700’s, couple put $400K down and they haven’t sold their previous home yet!

Is it the dumbest thing I've ever done....

I’m not as tall, probably wider though! :) I keep looking at PA-32’s, I like the club seating for my in laws and my dogs, but like you, I’m not sure I want the low wing entry either. Looking at a couple of 210’s as well. The one you bought was on the upper end of my budget, and for that kind of...

What does a "normal" market look like?

My mom is from a small town on Lake Huron, I still know a couple people up there and I can’t believe the price of houses!! Little cottages are close to a million bucks!!

Is it the dumbest thing I've ever done....

Is this the one listed in North Carolina? I called about it, because I’ve got my Conquest under contract, but they said it was sold. I like the idea of a non-turbo, I don’t think I’d fly one above 10,000 feet anyway.

Taking my son’s best friend flying

Condolences to you and your family. I think taking his best friend flying is a wonderful idea and I am sure you’ll both enjoy it!

So, I got my GI-275s in and my plane FINALLY back.

Looks good! I had the maintenance shop deliver my Conquest after 5 months of the quoted 2 month SID inspection. Of course the price was significantly higher than the original quote. Several things had to be replaced or repaired beyond the original scope of work. I was ok with that, we negotiated...

What does a "normal" market look like?

Actually we are just west of Atlanta, bought a few there and 3 south west of Atlanta. These aren’t move in ready, by any stretch of the imagination. The key is buy them before they get listed. One we are starting on today hasn’t been occupied for 4-5 years! The owner left the utilities on, and...

What does a "normal" market look like?

And with high inflation, the cost of houses rise. I thought it was strictly low mortgage rates pushing the real estate, but I’m seeing cash offers on $200-300,000 houses that we are remodeling.
