Got to fly my friend's Comanche for the first time and all I can say was that I really liked it. Great flying plane with tons of interior space. Was shopping for one the past year but it was slim pickings. Heres a video of the flight.

I saw some data the other day when I was in diagnostics. I waiting to hear back from the shop. EDM 830 works except the NO GPS Signal.

I can't upload a file as this site does not support certain formats. but my I changed the In on my GTN to FADC Format 1 and my out is Aviation output 1. JPI is set to destination. During my flight I get NO GPS Signal even though I have a destination selected.

Hey Ryan, Plane is almost out of annual. Im unfamiliar with FADC Format 1. Is that in the config menu of the 650 xi?

Hi, Anyone have an edm 830 connected to a GTN 650xi? manual only has settings for 530/430 series.

The shop got back to me and helped me resolve my ptrim issue. They spoke with garmin and had me reset the ptrim servo in the G5 and the “servo cloth error” was removed and everything is back to normal.

Just got my plane back from the shop. Ptrim error came up today and resting the breaker did nothing. Fresh install. Not happy right now. Gfc 500 Piper. 28R.

In which configuration settings? Does the shop have to do it? I could not find the options.

Hey Guys, I have some people checking on this but I just picked up my plane yesterday from the shop. Long overdue. I have a Piper PA28R-180. I got two G5s, GTN 650xi, and GFC 500. In my GTN utilities menu only shows vcalc and no VNAV. Is there a way for me to config this myself? Sw 20.01 GPS 8.0

Same here. You can’t really rent a nice plane around my area. Mainly trainers.

Won’t be a problem for me but everyone keeps mentioning that and to look out for firewall damage. Trim for landing and your set. Only issue is I can’t rent one at my field.

My budget is around 120k. I’ve been looking at 182Qs and Rs. They are hard find lately. I fly out of KREI Redlands CA.
