I submit that BOTH Paul's are national treasures :) I shared a for-real engine out in a Clipper with Berge as CFI during a new-to-me Clipper check-out many, many years ago. Went sorta like....engine goes quiet...me to Berge in a high squeaky voice, 'YOUR AIRPLANE!!!!'...

What's the biggest headwind you big airplane guys have seen? My wife saw 174K on the nose @ FL380 coming up the East coast yesterday... Jim

No luck finding my pic of the Vagabond/Helio1....but here are some cool ones from the NASM site. I note they say it was a PA17....mostly moot point as the only difference was the -15 had a 0-145 Lyc and the -17 an A65 Cont, and they swapped the engine out anyway...
