Long haul flying - what a PITA

I (occasionally) do 10 hour days at work. The best thing for my back is an Oregon Aero seat cushion. Best $200 you can spend imo.

Pilatus PC-12 down near San Angelo,TX

No. If the autopilot kicks off the airplane will be (more or less) trimmed for the airspeed it is currently at.

Pilatus PC-12 down near San Angelo,TX

Legacy PC12 autopilots don’t handle turbulence well, and tend to kick off in anything more than light. I am wondering if this is another case of a capable airplane flown poorly by someone without to skills to match the automation. The PC12 is an incredibly capable airplane, and very easy to...

    Age 75+ Insurance

Technically it’s not. Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights act states that no business may turn away a customer based on several protected statuses, of which age is one. IANAL, but I would probably consult someone who is. Who knows, maybe you have a discrimination case and could end up with an...

A Socio economic discussion about boomers.

A Socio economic discussion about boomers.

In a world of finite resources, assuming anything is “infinite” is ridiculous.

A Socio economic discussion about boomers.

There's a lot of really interesting data on all this stuff, the "whys" are important. Actually, yes. There is only so much wealth that gets distributed. The myth of infinite economic growth is more ridiculous than santa claus or the tooth fairy.

A Socio economic discussion about boomers.

All good points, however I think that cell phones are so ingrained into life these days that I would say it's almost a requirement to have one. I know I certainly couldn't do my job without one.

A Socio economic discussion about boomers.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2019/12/03/precariousness-modern-young-adulthood-one-chart/ It's an old article, but it hits all the high notes.

A Socio economic discussion about boomers.

51% of Baby Boomers were homeowners at 30, compared with 48% of Gen Xers and 42% of Millenials. Boomers have lived under the most favorable economic conditions in history, yet the other generations are the spoiled ones?

    [NA]Texas handgun law[NA]

Definitely worth keeping. While you're at it, it's definitely worth giving USCCA $30/month as well. Right now I think they're giving out a free pelican pistol case and an IFAK.
