Somewhere around 500 hours I quit worrying much about landings. Get her down or go somewhere else. I finally started flying the plane other than the other way around

Not in Colorado - Illegal to hunt under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance. The wildlife folks will bust you for a beer in hand and rifle over the shoulder.

    Heading West!

Cortez airport is closest to a motel. Animas airpark is much closer to Durango than Durango-LaPlata. Pagosa Springs is nice with a new runway. I would consider Telluride. We really like a few days in Telluride.

Remos G3 or GX Baggage area

I believe the new Gen 4 jabiru engines has addressed the growing pains. Plus social media can amplify one or two incidents way out of proportion. Stats in Australia are showing problems equal or less and L and C.

Remos G3 or GX Baggage area

My Jabiru does 120 knots (not miles) easy below 10,000 fully loaded. If I want to burn 30% more gas and exceed the LS rpm limit it will do around 130. Also plenty of baggage space.

I first saw him in 1971 in the ballroom in the student union. Less than 50 folks sitting around on the floor and guy in a chair with several guitars. Denver will be my 6th (I think).

Anyone have any info on this Catalina crash?

Hump in the runway makes it look real short. Folks get on the brakes or otherwise loose it after touchdown. Downdraft warnings also encourage folks to land long and/or hot.
