Just go with the pad that preheats the sump. Takes 45 minutes to install and they do plenty great for the cost that most of us fly in.

Looking at dumping the post lights in a 172 and using the overhead dome in conjunction with either NuLights, Fiberlights, or a under glare shield led strip. Anyone prefer one brand/setup over the other?

It’s been a while coming but I believe it’s happening in many fields. If you have relative experience and are good at what you do, a degree is junk…. I’ve met too many people that have a degree, but that’s where the magic stops.

You most likely better keep your engine to send in for a core. Finding shops with E2D’s on the shelf to rebuild has been a struggle for some.

It can be done. The GTN manual states how to load a .gfp iFlightPlanner can export a .gfp but ForeFlight can not, they are short to the races on that one.

In folks that have experience flying into OSH, what time do you generally need to get to the arrival area by to make it in and on the ground with good success? I know earlier is better but trying to get a good idea.
