Who said I was offended? If you don’t like my opinion, that’s too bad… for you.

Pipistrel Panthera - The perfect airplane?

Please elaborate. Where did you get this demo flight? As for the purchase, is it a kit? How much was it? Has it been delivered?

Pipistrel Panthera - The perfect airplane?

Would you show me where I indicated the inability to convert FL to feet. Found the guy who didn't know that Cessna is owned by Textron.

Selling a homebuilt that was never registered

When my plane was inspected, the DAR had no interest in build logs. All he was interested in was whether the aircraft was airworthy. He told me build logs and pictures were important when you apply for the Repairman's certificate. YMMV

Pipistrel Panthera - The perfect airplane?

$800k for a single engine experimental??? After you climb up on the wing. That's not my definition of "direct entry". And I have a difficult time taking aircraft specs seriously when advertise altitudes as "FL80" for 8,000'.

    RV inline fuel filter

Once again, define "soon". And what gascolator will remove a pint of water from fuel?

    RV inline fuel filter

Define "soon". I've run without a gascolator for 10 years. Haven't had any problems. I personally know about a dozen planes without a gascolator that have been flying for over 20 (some at 30 years) without any problems.

    GPS backup

When I fly cross country, I always file IFR. And during the flight, I keep a nav radio tuned to the nearest relevant VOR.

    RV inline fuel filter

Velocity's run these. While not exactly the same, they appear similar. https://airflowperformance.com/index.php/product/6-40-micron-maintainable-fuel-filter/ Has worked fine for me. I cleaned about once a month until I stopped seeing fiberglass dust in it. That took about a year. I...

Parking or Hangaring in Dallas for a Week

I spent a few days at McKinney a few years back. Good service, the price wasn't bad and Hutchins BBQ was close by.
