If you are inverted, a climb prop becomes a dive prop

What's your go-to Concealed Carry weapon?

As long as you understand it’s not needed anymore :) but yeah for the old guns you absolutely would want to do that

    [NA] Semi-auto shotguns

I meant a reliable Semi Auto Shotgun, vs a reliable pump :) You can find very cheap examples of each, if that is the goal and I'd pick the pump everytime.

    [NA] Semi-auto shotguns

Don't spend the money on the semi auto, they cost a fair amount more than a pump. And within a box of shells you will find a pump is plenty quick. 12/20 ga is the only options and for shooting skunks it really doesn't matter. If you are going to use it well into old age get the 20ga, if you...

Trying to figure out best next steps for IR and Commercial

It is only double if you do it in the same number of hours (time) in the twin, as you would in the single. I have yet to see that happen. It is a pretty good step, and there is a learning curve there.

What are Your Thoughts About the DPE System?

I'd just point out, that just because a DPE barely makes his yearly requirement. Doesn't really mean that he is available. Many of our local DPE's have day jobs.

What are Your Thoughts About the DPE System?

The FAA shouldn't be involved in pricing at all. And I would argue shouldn't be limiting the supply of DPE's either, which they currently do.

    DuPuis Family Cobra Build

If it wasn't for that day job, you could get to work in a hurry.

What are Your Thoughts About the DPE System?

What would you suggest as an alternative? Back when Checks were a thing, no DPE in their right mind would accept one. Now we have credit cards with surcharges, I suppose everyone could just raise their prices to account for swiping though.

Can an MEI (without CFII) train for add-on multiengine ratings?

I'm just saying, that there are checkrides that happen where applicants apply without the required pre-requisites for the rating. Actually it happens a lot, sometimes they actually pass and get through. The credentials of the signing off CFI are probably the least looked at item. It's clear...

Can an MEI (without CFII) train for add-on multiengine ratings?

Right, that couldn't be a requirement because there are Multi pilots out there without IFR ratings. Those could obviously be taught by Multi Instructors without the II all day long. But what you can't do, is take a checkride as a single engine instrument-airplane pilot, and add multi with...
