I failed my Initial Commercial Multi Checkride Oral- ACS Standards?

Not only that, but you are required to talk about and have knowledge about systems and conditions that you may never have been anywhere near. Over water commercial ops, part 91 ops vs part 135, Icing, FIKI, Pressurization, Medical Factors, Endorsements for High Altitude... Oh hell, even...

    CFI or ATP-CTP?

The regional will pay for the atp-ctp, don’t pay for it yourself. What you need is 1,000 more hours.

    Logbook Question

That's a pretty narrow band that it matters though, similiar to logging XC's where you didn't stop for ATP's. Once you get over 500 XC (>51nm with the stop), then why would you continue to track this? Electronic is the way to go, paper logbook for the basics. Astericks if you think you'll care...

    N/A Money manager charges / %.

To be fair all those simulations are now available for free, so a person can do all the "What If's" that they want to do.

Oh sure they are available, but that doesn’t mean that an increased NW individual really benefits as much as the salesperson does.

Why do you assume that after 20M or so, that the advice changes? Or the Expertise does? Because the AUM certily does not change much.

Before or after fees, and out of how many? I Wonder what they will do the next 5 years? It isn’t that an active fund can’t beat a good index each year, 13% of them do every year. The problem is figuring out which one will do it next year, and the year after that, etc. then trying to get them to...

You can just put the total fee in there, AUM etc. Most people dropped front load fees long ago, but certainly not all.

Play with this https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/investing/mutual-fund-calculator And keep in mind even at 60 you may have a 20-30 year timeframe. It gets worse if you are younger.

1% /yr means you will have half the balance you would have, after 30 years. The fee's matter. Fees are lower than they used to be, for the most part. But there are still plenty of companies charging AUM (Asset Under Management) fees for little value. There are people that will just charge you...

    Budgeting cost of Instrument rating

Seems reasonable, but you forgot to factor in the mastery/proficiency. You MAY do that in 40 hours total, but it could take longer. I have no idea what you have been doing under the hood for 12 hours. So worst case assume that you need another 40? If that isn't true, it isn't going to matter...

    landing a seneca II

So I have a fair amount of time in them, and this is common. First do a W&B, with two people and fuel you are generally fair far forward, through some weight in the back. Then just don't try a power off landing, leave a touch of power in until the mains are on. And pull it gently back, two...
