    It’s pretty rare to find a commercial airplane pilot without an instrument rating. Rotorcraft is another thing.

    So 314k instrument pilots, subtract 164k atp pilots. That leaves about 150k instrument rated pilot, subtract the 100k commercial. That leaves 50k of 161k private pilots that would be ifr rated. Seems about right

    For all the hype the sport pilot numbers are pathetic. Shocked there are so many recreational pilots :) Looking at private, commercial and atp, I don’t see how the instrument number makes sense. Are they including ATPs or not?

    Roku really ties things together, even the Plex app if you want to store some things on your pc. The really nice thing is the interface and apps can be the same regardless of the age of your “smart” TVs. but our roku has a Ed remote, not IR. I had to eventually give up my Logitech programmable...

    No one at the airport reads your tail number when flying either, it’s just an identifier when talking to someone else.

    Just because the manufacture put a 2.4 and 5Ghz chip in, doesn't mean they are created equal. Antenna's and other factors come into play. RF interference is a huge issue, that no one ever pays attention to.

    Perhaps he didn't remember anything else about the plane? How much time did he log in this plane? Was it 1 hour or 100, and how much did he know. We will never know.
