Is there a wash rack or hose at KSEZ? After the flight into Prescott I think I killed every bug between here and SoCal.

Doesn’t the average pilot fly 40 hours a year? By your standards 99.99% of pilots who don’t fly for a living are low time pilots.

Monday AM?

Fly out that way this evening myself, but going to Prescott. It’ll be my longest night cross country since we are not leaving till 6:30pm. We are going high though, 13.5.

We are leaving tonight and will be in Prescott with the in-laws. I am going to fly into Sedona tomorrow and would love to meet up with whoever is there.

That’s what I thought it meant but why would you do this? Especially low and slow in the pattern.

Look at his flight path. He turned base and was past the runway before cutting it sharp to turn final, almost made a 180* turn.

Based on where the crash happened he would have been 800’ AGL. If unfamiliar with the upslope terrain could have been much lower. Doesn’t the cirrus chute require 900’? Looking at the pic it came straight down. Just didn’t come down slow.

Crash site compared to airport. My uneducated guess from nowhere is base to final turn and he overshot and banked to correct. The terrain there slopes up and gives you a false view if not familiar.

6 nails in 3 tires, sitting here while the shop laughs at how I managed to get that many nails in. This airport is local to me, wife saw the smoke from my daughters school down the street.

According to FlightAware this may be the plane. RIP

Sad, as a new Saratoga owner I understand that you need to be vigilant and ahead of the airplane at all times. If new to it you can easily fall way behind.

We are leaving Saturday evening, will be staying with the in-laws till Monday in Prescott
