I look at the pilot and of he looks back I give a him a thumbs up, if they’d really me they wave me forward. If I can’t make eye contact I do a short “Cesna 4J you read” just to be courteous.
I’ve had too many people pull up to hold short just to do the run up there blasting the planes behind them.

I waited 4 hours to have tire and tubes changed once at a local shop. In that 4 hours I watched the same mechanic go between 3 planes off and on. In my head I’m thinking man, $125 an hour for each plane, billing 24 hours of labor for an 8 hour day.
Just keep repeating that you are a sovereign citizen and you were not flying, just traveling. Then keep asking AM I BEING DETAINED, you’ll be in your merry way shortly and your junk will stay in your pants.
It was traveling over 150mph directly towards raising terrain. It would have looked to most people casually glancing to be descending rapidly is my opinion.
It’s obviously apparent that they were not on a IFR flight plan and was flying low in hilly terrain.
Can any helo pilots explain why the pilot wouldn’t want to file IFR?

I don't have a Bonanza but I have a Saratoga II TC and when leaned for Taxi I can't even get up to 1700 RPMs for the runup without the engine sputtering. Witness says it sounded like he gunned it after floating back down to the runway after not being able to lift off. I don't think he would not...
